Steven Scheer, President

Steve brings 15+ years of business, financial, & operations management experience in both corporate and entrepreneurial environments to Brondell. His background includes early stage involvement in companies such as Craigslist.org and EcoTimber along with corporate experience at large institutions such as Brown Brothers Harriman & Company. Steve has a proven track record of success in early stage operational development of company infrastructure, developing and launching domestic and international distribution & sales channels, and strategic planning across a variety of products and industries.

Steve earned his bachelor's degree in Finance from Northeastern University in Boston, Massachusetts and has founded two successful companies to date.

Sara Kimball, Director of Operations

Sara brings over 11 years of consumer sales, customer service, and corporate management experience to Brondell. Her extensive experience working for major retailers such as Home Depot as well as market development within the kitchen & bath industry has proven an invaluable asset for Brondell's growth and multi-channel retail development.

Sara earned her bachelor's degree in Psychology from San Francisco State University and has been an essential part of Brondell for the past five years.

Parker Benthin, Director of Sales

Parker brings 10+ years experience in business development, sales management, and purchasing to Brondell.  He has held director and management level positions in entrepreneurial high growth companies across multiple industries which includes extensive sales and purchasing experience in the residential and commercial construction industry.  Parker succeeds in driving growth while effectively managing relationships for sustainability.

Parker earned his bachelor’s degree in Pastoral Ministries from Oral Roberts University in Tulsa Oklahoma and has had early stage involvement in three successful companies.

Board Members

David Samuel, Founder & Chairman

David Samuel is an experienced executive with a proven ability to identify market trends and build companies from the ground up. A serial entrepreneur and internet pioneer, Dave has specialized in software & media since 1994. In early 1996, David, as CEO, founded Spinner.com, the first and largest Internet music service. In May 1999, AOL acquired the firm for $320 million. David also, co-founded Grouper.com, a website specializing in Internet Video. In August 2006, Sony Pictures Entertainment acquired the company for $65 million. In late 2003, David co-founded Brondell, the first American-based company to develop high-tech toilet seats. David currently runs freestylecapital and serves as Brondell's Chairman of the Board.

David graduated from MIT in 1994 with a degree in Electrical Engineering. David is a member of the SF Bay YPO (young president's organization), an SF Giants fan, enjoys both wakeboarding and snowboarding, and lives in Marin County with his wife & four children.

Scott Pinizzotto, Founder

Scott brings 16 years of product development, planning, and marketing experience to Brondell. Most recently, he served as Director of Product Planning for Indian Motorcycle. His product development roots stem from five years as a design engineer with Sony Corporation. There he developed leading-edge television products specifically designed for the North American market. It was during his two years at Sony's Global Headquarters in Tokyo, Japan that he experienced first-hand the Japanese adoption of seat wash products.

Scott earned his bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering from Pennsylvania State University in 1991. In 1998, he obtained his Masters in Business Administration from the University of California, Berkeley, Haas School of Business.
